Communication
We work with families and couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships. We have found that communication problems need to be solved before any other relationship problems can be addressed. Conflicts and misunderstanding occur as communication breaks down to disrespectful verbal attacks or withdraw. You can’t solve financial or child rearing disagreements if you can’t get people to openly and constructively discuss the issues. No compromise or decisions can be made if people can’t talk without angry out bursts or without all parties feeling they can be heard and understood.
How do you break this negative downward cycle of communication?
We use several communication tools to assist families in breaking the negative communication cycles. This four part series will provide you with tools every person can use to improve their communication. As communications begin to improve individuals and families can begin to discuss and resolve relationship issues they face.
